The winter has left me fatigued with colds and flu

what a beating on one’s body and psyche to endure

one afternoon in between the cold and flu

an walk was scheduled with a friend to visit the Biltmore Estate Conservatory

where a multitude of flowers were in bloom

an afternoon where a glimpse of Spring had sprung

and farewell to Winter had begun
