After searching for the long awaited fall colours to arrive in Western North Carolina, yesterday, November 1st – they finally arrived!

While I haven’t had as much time as I would like to for outside activities, I took a drive to some different areas over the past three days, and discovered a beautiful assortment of fall foliage.

While eagerly awaiting Autumn and searching for the light to illuminate its colours, these are the images my eyes have found;

This morning I am grateful to have eyes that see, the ability to move about, I am also grateful for the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina where I live.
