Realizing balance is not just physical – it’s more emotional, spiritual and mental. And once accepted, I’m not in control of any of it with the exception of just ‘being’ and ‘believing’. Sounds easy – but, it’s not.
As we enter into the Holy Days – the to do lists get longer, the calendar fills up, and the next thing I know, my spirit of peace and serenity have been knocked off balance and I’m headed for a frenzy.
Time to pause, breathe, make space for self-care and spiritual guidance. A walk in the woods, a prayer in my favorite church or meditation room. A time to sit quietly and listen for guidance from within.
